StreamSec File Encryption Tools 3.0

StreamSec File Encryption Tools gives Delphi developers the ability to create read only encrypted archives with individualized file permissions and evidence based security

This product is specifically designed for systems where files are published by a single entity, made available to multiple recipients, and the recipients might have different access rights to the various files. 

For example, the distribution system for StreamSec Tools itself is developed using StreamSec File Encryption Tools. The files are merged to a single *.fea file that can be downloaded from this site using the StreamSec Tools 3.0 net installer. This file contains both the compressed and encrypted source files for StreamSec Tools 3.0, a directory listing of these files, and a key file that contains the cryptographic information each user needs for decrypting the files.

Evidence based security means that the cryptographic material used for decrypting the files is derived from the information the user presents for authenticating himself or herself, and that this process only involves cryptographically secure operations. This means that it is practically impossible to decrypt the files only by cracking the decryption software.

StreamSec File Encryption Tools is adopted for optionally processing very large files or archives. Decryption can be performed on demand, without the need for processing the entire file before accessing it.

This product bundle includes the packages STCore, STHash, STEncrypt, STPKC, STAsn1 and STFileEncryption.
